Program Description

Bring your child’s imagination to life in this playful and engaging introduction to acting!

Designed especially for ages 3–5, Kids on Camera introduces young children to performing through imaginative play, storytelling, costumes, characters, and fun on-camera activities.

Students will explore how to express different emotions, use their voices and bodies to create characters, and become comfortable performing in front of the camera. Green screen activities add an extra element of imagination and fun as students see themselves transported into different scenes and settings.

Children will also receive a gentle, age-appropriate introduction to film, television, commercials, and voice-over, helping them learn how to follow direction, perform for the camera, and experience what being on set is like.

Above all, the program is designed to encourage confidence, creativity, self-expression, and a love of performing in a positive and supportive environment.

About the Instructor

Kelly Lamb is the owner of That Creative Loft and a professional actor, holding ACTRA and UDA memberships. She holds a degree in the Arts from Laurentian University and has coached students who have gone on to book roles in productions such as Ginny & Georgia and The Black Phone 2.

Her goal is to support and inspire the next generation of young performers as they build confidence, creativity, and real on-screen experience.
