DESCRIPTION: 

Step into the future of acting with this hands-on training program designed for performers who want to master motion capture and visual effects. Over six weeks, actors will learn to work with the Rokoko motion capture suit (full body), perform in green screen environments, and bring characters to life in immersive digital worlds. With a focus on physical storytelling, spatial awareness, and acting for invisible environments, this course prepares actors for the unique demands of virtual production and VFX-driven projects.

Mathieu's Bio:

Mathieu Taillefer is a versatile film and media professional with more than a decade of expertise in cinematography, lighting design, VFX, audio post-production, color grading, and directing. His work has been showcased on Netflix, UNIS TV, TVA, Amazon, and APTN, where he has overseen every production stage from conceptual lighting schemes to final color-grade delivery. He partners closely with actors at every level, from emerging talent to industry veterans, coaching nuanced on-camera performances, guiding precision blocking and marks, and ensuring seamless collaboration with multi-camera crews. A dedicated mentor, Mathieu empowers performers to hone emotional authenticity, adapt to last-minute technical changes and deliver confident, camera-ready work under any production conditions.
