Course Description:

Take your voice acting skills to the next level in this expanded 9-week advanced program designed for students with prior voice-over training. This immersive course offers deeper, more focused development in the professional techniques used across animation, commercials, dubbing, video games, and narration.

Working inside a fully equipped studio with industry-standard tools like Pro Tools, you’ll explore advanced skills such as character layering, emotional performance, timing to picture, ADR workflow, and multi-character scene delivery. With nine full weeks of progression, you’ll have time to refine your craft, strengthen your versatility, and push your performance abilities further than ever.

Throughout the program, you’ll complete a range of studio exercises and recorded sessions spanning:

• Animation — character work, scene acting, emotional nuance

• Commercials — clarity, pacing, authenticity

• Dubbing/ADR — lip-sync accuracy and visual cue timing

• Video Games — vocal intensity, combat reactions, creature voices

• Narration — storytelling, tone control, and pacing

By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with polished audio clips suitable for enhancing your demo reel, along with stronger technical skill, confidence, and professional-level performance instincts.

Mathieu's Bio: 

Mathieu Taillefer is a versatile film and media professional with more than a decade of expertise in cinematography, lighting design, VFX, audio post-production, color grading, and directing. His work has been showcased on Netflix, UNIS TV, TVA, Amazon, and APTN, where he has overseen every production stage from conceptual lighting schemes to final color-grade delivery. He partners closely with actors at every level, from emerging talent to industry veterans, coaching nuanced on-camera performances, guiding precision blocking and marks, and ensuring seamless collaboration with multi-camera crews. A dedicated mentor, Mathieu empowers performers to hone emotional authenticity, adapt to last-minute technical changes and deliver confident, camera-ready work under any production conditions.
