Special Activity: Shooting a scene with filmmaker Richard Barlow. 

Bio: 

Sudbury born, award winning actor Gary Levert has amassed an impressive resume since catching the acting bug way back at the age of eight years old.  He is well known to TV and film audiences north and south of the border, having worked on Moby Dick with William Hurt and Ethan Hawke, Bag of Bones with Pierce Brosnan, and Jesse Stone with Tom Selleck, just to name a few. He is the recipient of multiple ACTRA Awards for his roles in Trudeau II Maverick in the Making, Cory Bowles’, Heart of Rhyme, and his compelling performance in Shandi Mitchell's, The Disappeared, alongside Billy Campbell, Shawn Doyle and Brian Downy.

DESCRIPTION: 

With Gary’s guidance, students will focus on scene and character analysis which will allow them to make strong choices supported by the material. Students can expect to work on various scenes from various genres. They will also get the opportunity to work and perform alongside a classmate in order to get a better feel of what it’s like to be on set.
