DESCRIPTION:
The Working Actor 2.0 is a six-week advanced training program for graduates of The Working Actor course who are ready to push their skills to a professional level. This intensive program challenges actors with complex blocking, moving camera work, ensemble performance, high-stakes emotional scenes, and technical acting for green screen and VFX. Over the course of six weeks, students will film three polished, industry-ready scenes that showcase their range and adaptability, preparing them to excel on professional sets.
Mathieu's Bio:
Mathieu Taillefer is a versatile film and media professional with more than a decade of expertise in cinematography, lighting design, VFX, audio post-production, color grading, and directing. His work has been showcased on Netflix, UNIS TV, TVA, Amazon, and APTN, where he has overseen every production stage from conceptual lighting schemes to final color-grade delivery. He partners closely with actors at every level, from emerging talent to industry veterans, coaching nuanced on-camera performances, guiding precision blocking and marks, and ensuring seamless collaboration with multi-camera crews. A dedicated mentor, Mathieu empowers performers to hone emotional authenticity, adapt to last-minute technical changes and deliver confident, camera-ready work under any production conditions.
