DESCRIPTION: 

The Working Actor is a 6-week, hands-on program designed to give actors everything they need to work confidently on professional film and TV sets. You’ll learn set etiquette, camera techniques, continuity, emotional range, and audition skills and after the first week, you’ll be on set every class, filming professional scenes for your demo reel. Leave with real on-set experience, industry-ready footage, and the tools to land your next role.

Mathieu's Bio:

Mathieu Taillefer is a versatile film and media professional with more than a decade of expertise in cinematography, lighting design, VFX, audio post-production, color grading, and directing. His work has been showcased on Netflix, UNIS TV, TVA, Amazon, and APTN, where he has overseen every production stage from conceptual lighting schemes to final color-grade delivery. He partners closely with actors at every level, from emerging talent to industry veterans, coaching nuanced on-camera performances, guiding precision blocking and marks, and ensuring seamless collaboration with multi-camera crews. A dedicated mentor, Mathieu empowers performers to hone emotional authenticity, adapt to last-minute technical changes and deliver confident, camera-ready work under any production conditions.
