Looking to improve your confidence? Strengthen your public speaking skills? Learn to problem solve and 'think outside the box'? Want to meet new people and have a few laughs? Then join us for some improv!
Improv is great for film and television actors because it encourages them to play, listen and be present.
Bio:
Scott Florence is a social justice warrior by day and a dilettante by night. Besides his work with oddhawks, production manages the community show at Le TNO, and has poetry on the streets that you can only see when it rains. Previously Scott was the General Manager at STC; the Artistic Director of Ottawa’s premiere Shakespeare troupe, A Company of Fools; the Artistic Managing Director of the Ottawa Lumière Festival; a co-curator of the .isme: Cabaret; the General Manager of the Canadian Improv Games; and an Associate Professor with Algonquin College. His work as an actor, director, and clown has taken him as far north as Yellowknife, as far south as St. Pete’s (Florida), as far west as Victoria and as far east as Nanjing, China.
