Unravel the intricacies of breaking down auditions, learn effective techniques to memorize scripts, establish meaningful relationships with agents and casting professionals, and navigate the unique landscape of being an actor in Northern Ontario and Canada. By gaining fundamental knowledge and insightful strategies, participants can elevate their self-tape submissions and enhance their overall auditioning prowess. This foundation will empower actors to deliver dynamic and captivating performances for every audition opportunity.

 

Instructor Biography: Axel Green, an accomplished individual in the world of acting and film, brings a wealth of experience and insights to the course. Axel's educational journey includes broadcasting studies in high school, as well as attending George Brown College and Vancouver Film School. As a dedicated member of ACTRA, Axel embarked on his acting career in Vancouver during the early 2000s. He has produced music videos and several short films, culminating in his producing debut, the indie feature "The Road To Tophet." Axel's professional footprint spans Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, and the extensive landscapes of Northern Ontario.

Axel's multifaceted talents have seen him in diverse roles, from a First Assistant Director and supporting actor in his feature film to a carpenter and set decorator for AQTIS. For the past decade, he has excelled as a Key Grip and was pivotal in founding IATSE 634 FILM. Amidst his various roles, Axel's passion for acting remains unwavering. His journey stands as a testament to his dedication, creativity, and resilience in the ever-evolving entertainment industry.
